No injuries were reported following a house fire on Mount Hope Street, according to information provided by the fire department.

The fire was reported at 4 p.m. at a home near the Route 295 overpass. The first engine to arrive at the scene was faced with heavy fire conditions and a venting propane tank at the rear of the home. The fire was seen at the rear of the house and extending up the side and into the attic. The shift commander ordered a second alarm due to the conditions upon arrival.

Firefighters began an aggressive attack on the fire and found no occupants. Heavy fire was found in the attic, and the roof was vented and the blaze contained in 40 minutes. Attleboro, Plainville, Cumberland and Foxboro assisted at the scene. Mansfield and Cumberland covered the town with off duty North Attleborough Firefighters. During this incident, off-duty North Attleborough Firefighters and mutual aid partners responded to three other calls for service.
